Kenya - Tanzania Safari and Wildebeest Migrayion
Overall good safari and great experience with the wildebeest crossings. The guides were well informed, had knowledge and had good local intelligence, were well connected that enabled them to take us to places where wild life were spotted. Food varied depending on where we stayed. Lunch options could have been better. Overall great experience. Aside did not like the shopping or the experience of visiting the Masai village-the activities at the village was designed for getting money from tourists .. Prices are more than four times the actual cost, so negotiate to get a fare price. This was not communicated clearly. In addition, the communications related to the border crossing processes could be better. Overall great experience.

African Safari
We did a fabulous 9 day safari through the Masai Mara, Northern and Central Serengeti and NgoroNgoro. We got to see some Wildebeest migration across the Mara, with lions, cheetahs, leopard, buffalo, hippos, crocodiles, elephants. Zebras, Giraffes, and a wide range of animals in the deer category, hyenas, jackals, various wild cats, ostriches, predatory birds etc. we had a great land cruiser on the Masai Mara leg, although the vehicle on the Tanzania leg appeared a little tired. The guides in both the Kenya and Tanzania legs were great. Amani, on the Tanzania leg was very knowledgeable. The accommodations were very nice with the Kubu Kubu lodge in the Central Serengeti being the highlight. Packed lunches were not very appealing, but the breakfast and dinner were nice. The Masai village visit enroute to NgoroNgoro was interesting but not particularly appealing as it looked like a show put together to extract money from gullible tourists. The stopovers for souvenirs could have been better performed if proper guidance was provided. The guides get a commission on the purchase volume, so there’s a bit of a conflict of interest. While I am accepting of the guides making a commission, appropriate guidance on what to expect should have been provided. In any case, the stop near Arusha on the return had the best overall selection and quality, albeit pricier, but one needs to negotiate hard. Overall, a very good experience.

Our guides Mark and Obed with East Safari Tours did an outstanding job of making sure we had the best safari possible. Mark's monitoring of the radio and knowledge of the many "roads" allowed us to see the maximum amount of wildlife including the big 5. He was full of information on each species that we found which was an added bonus. I was surprised that our safari vehicle had AC and WI-FI so we could keep our phones and Camaras charged and connect with the outside world. In addition to spoting wildlife, Obed loaded and unloaded our super heavy suitcases and made sure we had our boxed lunches and were always supplied with 2 bottles of water. My grandson, who is in the Peacecorps in Tanzania, took this same safari in 2024 and Obed remembered him so I was affectionately called Babu which means grandfather in Swahili.

Highly recommend East Safari for an adventure you'll never forget
"Babu" (my father) and I had an incredible 4 night safari through Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro with East Safari. Obed was helpful and quick to respond during the planning process and we were lucky enough to have him join us on safari. Obed made sure things ran smoothly, while Marc, our guide and expert driver, provided tons of information about the parks and the creatures that live in and around them. Marc worked hard to make sure we saw all of the big 5 and helped make our trip memorable. All of the lodging and food was superb.I really want to thank Marc and Obed for the wonderful attention they gave us, especially "Babu", their thoughtful conversation and extensive knowledge. And a big thanks to Obed for joining us on the long journey to Materuni Falls after the safari, making sure we arrived safely. You two will always be a special part of our safari adventure stories.

You can trust East Safari with your experience!
Our Safari experience was awesome! Our family of four traveled with our two 20 year old kids. We did Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Manyara. Our driver and guide, Amani, was knowledgeable about the wildlife and where to find them - and we saw a lot of excitement. His expert driving skills on difficult roads was impressive. We also had a second guide, Emanuel, who was helpful and friendly. The lodging was luxury on the Serengeti and we were very happy with the rooms, food and service at all 4 resorts we stayed at - two of which were beautiful luxury tents. My only suggestion is to carefully select your Arusha hotel. Obed was great with communicating and answering my questions while I researched which company I wanted to trust with this special experience. I highly recommend East Safari for your safari experience!

5 days safari - a fantastic experience
It was simply fantastic! There were six of us and we not only had a great driver, Noah, but also Obed as our companion. Both were super nice and always very helpful. The entire safari was excellently organized and the lodges were well chosen. We were on the road for 5 days and had the absolute dream sightings, probably mainly due to the experience and knowledge of the two of them! We saw the Big Five, were incredibly close to a family of lions, could have almost petted a herd of elephants, saw a lioness eating and, my personal highlight, saw a cheetah with 4 babies up close. We had this to thank above all for the fact that Noah always made sure that we always had excellent visibility despite the great competition. Thanks to him we were also able to take absolutely fantastic photos. All in all, just an absolutely fantastic experience!
