Day 3Tarangire National Park

We will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha at 8am and take you to a very special national park. Tarangire is famous for its diverse landscape with nine different vegetation zone. The park is particularly known for the abundance of Ancient Baobab trees (the largest trees in the continent) which fill the landscape and dwarf the animals next to them. The river of the park is full of wildlife ranging from a large variety of birds to lions, leopards, zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, antelopes and, of course, elephants. In fact, the park has the largest concentration of elephants in the whole country and provides unique chances to observe the interaction between elephant families. The lunch area is fascinating, boasting an observatory with amazing views to the river and wildlife (with good chances of seeing a hunt while having your picnic). In the afternoon we will still do a game drive before continuing to your accommodation.

It is a unique and picturesque park with a stunning lake, inspiring views, and varied wildlife and birdlife. Lake Manyara is a shallow, alkaline lake that is part of the Rift Valley wall; the lake is at the base of this dramatic western escarpment giving it a beautiful and serene setting. In addition to this peaceful setting, Lake Manyara’s main attractions are its rich bird life, tree climbing lions, and its hippos which you can see at a closer range than any other place.

Day 5Serengeti National Park

We’ll take an early breakfast, as we’ve got a big day of exploration and adventure ahead of us! We’ll begin the day with the scenic drive towards the Serengeti. Along the way we’ll pass through the mist-shrouded rainforests of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area where you might be lucky enough to glimpse cape buffalo, baboons, or even elephants and leopards in the dense undergrowth. It’s a nearly four hour drive to the Serengeti park gates, but you can choose to break up the drive with one or both of the below optional activities: After a delicious lunch at the Serengeti National Park picnic area, it’s time to explore the Serengeti itself. Witness Africa’s iconic savannah landscape and be amazed by the sheer number of animals that roam these grassy plains. Dinner and overnight in the heart of the Serengeti National Park

Day 6-7Serengeti National Park

You dedicate these 2 days to Serengeti National park and take a morning and an afternoon game drive in Serengeti national Park to look for lion, leopard, Elephant, Cheetah, Buffalo, Zebra, Wildebeest, Eland, Wild dog, Gazelles, Crocs and more. Lot of birds includes the Eurasia migrants.
The Serengeti is probably the most famous wildlife sanctuary in the world, and it is recorded as the BEST number ONE wildlife area in the world where to see great number of animals. Within its 15,000 sq km area it hosts 3 million large mammals. More than 35 species of plain animals- zebra, wildebeest, eland, giraffe, and others are found here. And so for the big five: elephant, lion, buffalo, leopard and rhino. The park is the staging zone for one the most spectacular events in the natural world- the annual migration of wildebeest. This commences around June to August, possibly to witness then crossing at Mara River, when over 1 million wildebeest, zebra and gazelle head for the Maasai Mara in Kenya in search of pasture. They are followed closely by the predators of the savanna- lion, cheetah, wild dog, jackal, hyena and vultures. The Serengeti also has over 500 species of birds

Day 8Serengeti National Park to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area

After breakfast, we get right on the road back towards the Ngorongoro Crater National Park. Our drive takes us back through the Serengeti via a different route, offering plenty of opportunities to spot the animals. As far as the eye can see, you’ll spot thousands upon thousands of animals in herds; wildebeests and zebras migrating together, tall and graceful giraffes, jumping antelopes and gazelles, the powerful African elephant and the most respected group of animals: the predators. You will have the chance to spot lean cheetahs and shy leopards, foraging hyenas, and last but not least, the king himself; the lion. Dinner and overnight on the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater

Day 9Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, you’ll depart for Ngorongoro Crater; considered by some to be the Eighth Wonder of the World. When you get your first glimpse of this vast, verdant caldera from the panoramic viewpoint, you’ll soon understand why it has earned such a lofty reputation. Home to over 120 species of mammal including the fabled Big Five, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area is one of the most sought after safari destinations in the world. It’s a particularly good place to see the endangered black rhinoceros enjoying a lonely meal out on the grass plains, as well as a place to see large numbers of hippopotamus enjoying the cool water. From the comfort of your open-top vehicle, you’ll be able to observe and photograph some of Africa’s most recognizable faces. After the thrills and excitement of the day, you will have a picnic lunch by the park’s famous hippo pool. Thereafter, you will drive to Arusha for Overnight.

Day 10Volunteering at Fruitful Orphanage Center (Meet the little sunshine’s)

One of the most popular volunteer projects in Africa, Fruitful Orphanage and Day Care hosts hundreds of participants each year who want to work with adorable children in the orphanage of Arusha, Tanzania.
The Voluntary Orphanage Program focuses on the welfare and development of disadvantaged children. Due to the widespread disease of HIV / AIDS, many children have been left homeless in Tanzania and other African countries. The extended families of these children are forced to send the children to such orphanages, due to economic limitations.
Volunteering with children in an orphanage will be the most rewarding experience for volunteers and students of the sabbatical year. If you choose to work here, you must be adaptable, flexible and prepared to face and listen to heartbreaking stories of children’s backgrounds. In a typical project placement, there are about 55-60 children in the age group of 4-10 years. Rest assured that you will feel moved after spending time here with the children.

What are you going to do and responsibilities as a volunteer?

– To volunteer, you work alongside existing staff to care for children in orphanages.
– You will also have to help with daily tasks at the orphanage / nurseries such as washing clothes, feeding children and making suggestions to staff to improve, help with administrative work, etc.
– Help children with their homework and play with them to involve them in activity-based learning.
– If you are a creative person, you can try your hands at adding some more colors to the entire environment, by renewing the center, along with your colleagues.
– Most importantly, make sure that children are soaked in love and care because that is what they need most.
-Teach children English if they know some English or are a teacher
You may also bring some sweets/candies or any kind of gift for this little kids
