Depart very early for Lake Nakuru National Park. Enjoy your hot lunch at Nyahururu then proceed on with your journey. The park covers 180 sq km and is home to warthogs, waterbuck, buffaloes, reed bucks, and the occasional leopard. White and black rhinos were introduced to the park some years ago and you may find white rhino at the southern end. The park has also retained its reputation as an ornithologists’ delight with more than 400 species of bird found here.

Depart with picnic lunch boxes after your morning breakfast and transfer to Masai Mara National Reserve. The Reserve is administered by the local county council. It is probably the most famous and most visited reserve in Kenya. It offers breathtaking views (seen in the film ‘Out of Africa’, much of which was filmed here) an extraordinary density of animals including the “Big Five” and many varieties of plains game.
